I’m not sure whether I’ll enter or not this year, as submitting prints is so much more hassle and expense, though I can understand your reasons!

Thanks for commenting Peter (and for the work that must go into running these exhibitions!) – I’ve entered the Cotswold Monochrome I think three or four times before (with prints), and this is definitely the best I’ve managed so far, so i’m not going to give up now! I’ll be back next year to try again

All three judges at Cotswold Salon 2010, the National Exhibition run by Cotswold Monochrome, have an excellent reputation. It is not easy to get acceptances because it does attract some first class photographers. All I can say is that if not successful this year please try again, an acceptance is something to be proud of.
