Steps at Silloth

I received the results for my submission to this years Bristol International Salon by email today, and am delighted to have obtained two acceptances from four entries into the ‘Open’ class. My best result was with ‘Steps at Silloth’ taken in February this year. (Silloth is a small town on the Cumbrian Coast.) This achieved 17 marks out of a possible 18!

An older image, again from a town on the Cumbrian coast, but this time in the centre of town was also selected. I’ve entered this in a couple of other salons last year, and while it came close to the acceptance mark, it didn’t quite manage selection, so I’m pleased its now achieved some recognition!

Acceptances at the Bristol Salon count towards both Photographic Society of America (PSA) and Federation Internationale de l’Art Photographique (FIAP) awards.
